I know exactly how hard this is!
And to all the 1000’s of people out there who have the same struggle, I hear you and I am with you.
Most days are so good, but when your energy is low, and you have things on your mind, it doesn’t matter how positive you strive to be every day, there comes the individual days where you just feel like curling up in bed and crying.
I am having one of those days today, and it is because I am annoyed that I can’t just go to the fridge or pantry and get out anything and eat it. I am frustrated that I can’t just go out anywhere for a meal or take-away. I am annoyed that I must do all the cooking, because only I know what and how to cook food for me. I am annoyed that before going out anywhere to eat that I must first look at the menu to make sure that there is food there that I can eat. I am annoyed that when making arrangements to go out for a meal that I get to choose where we go because I must first check the menu. Many of you may be thinking, well that aint so bad, what are you complaining about! Well, it is hard to explain these feelings, I guess you have to live it to understand it.
Certain foods bloat me and make me feel very uncomfortable. Other foods cause terrible pain in my body. I am by no means a saint when it comes to eating the correct foods, but I do my best 95% of the time, but there are those times when you just want to have a little bit of yummy food, and only because it is so unfair that you can’t have it, and because you just crave those flavours. So, you eat something that you shouldn’t and guess what? I am in pain, and I suffer because of it.
You may ask; so why do you eat these foods if it causes you pain? Well, that is a great question, and one that I continue to ask myself whenever I eat the wrong foods. So, I will ask you this. What are your favourite foods? What do you love to eat? Now try and never eat them again….
Tomorrow will be a better day ………
